AFI movies

Inspired by Miss Alice and the Mad Hatter, I've very slowly started my own enterprise of watching the AFI 100 best movies ever. Si, soy una copiona!!!

Unlike them, I have not found around here anyone that shares my passion for film; usually watching an "old" movie or a foreign film means I end up watching it by myself. Even current films like "the boy in the striped pajamas", I've watched alone at the theater on a wintery Sunday matinee.

I can't deny that having people -even if they are across the sea- to share opinions and thoughts about the movies is nice. I've realized that I lived most of my life in a very pampered way: surrounded by intellectual, knowledgeable people. People that I not only could have a great conversation with, but that I could learn some pretty cool stuff from. I kinda miss that feeling a little.

Anyways, taking advantage of cable and that wonderful invention called "DVR", I've recorded some of the movies and watched them in the comfort of my tiny studio. I have to confess that when the memory is low and i find myself having to delete something to be able to record my beloved TV series those "black and white movies" are the first to disappear - silly me! But I have managed to see a couple of them.
